Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients.

In addition to its bustling centre and historic seafront, the town is world famous for its many attractions, including the famous Blackpool Tower. An opportunity to develop and further skills within the Musculoskeletal service.

Provide a high standard of therapy in the most appropriate setting to Consultant and GP referred patients.

Undertake a defined patient caseload, working under supervision of senior staff members, although you will be expected to organise and manage your own workload.

Undertake an assessment of designated out patients.

Provide a diagnosis, discuss treatment options and agree a management plan with patients in order to achieve agreed set goals.

Complete Medical Records on a daily basis in accordance with established protocols.

You will join a team consisting of a Consultant Physiotherapist, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, GP, Extended Scope Practitioners, Clinical Specialists and Physiotherapists supported with a good clerical and assistant team.
