**About the Team**

Bath and North East Somerset have two care homes which are Community Resource Centres located in Bath and Midsomer Norton. Each Community Resource Centre includes a residential care home for between 30 and 45 people, and these homes provide important services to older people in our community. We provide care and health services in a comfortable, safe environment for older vulnerable adults with a variety of disabilities, including dementia.

**About the Role**

We are looking for two Housekeepers to be based in one of our Community Resource Centre (CRC) at Combe Lea Resource Centre in Midsomer Norton on a part time basis. These are permanent contracts to support our housekeeping team, working 15 hours or 18.75 hrs per week on four week rolling rota.

**If successfully shortlisted for an interview, you can state your preference is terms of the different hours offered.**

**About You**

**As a Housekeeper**:

- Carry out domestic tasks which maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the care home, considering the wishes of services users.
- You will be a good team player and have great communication skills
- You will be able to develop appropriate and professional relationships with our residents and carers, which value them as individuals, including establishing and maintaining effective communication
- Undertake a laundry service for residents and a general laundry service for the care home, which will include sorting and washing laundry, ironing, operating laundry equipment, e.g., washers and dryers, irons. Cleaning soft furnishings within the home.
- Keep up-to-date written records.
