A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Dietitian to facilitate the dietetic delivery of the Weight Management Service across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). The service aligns to the Welsh Government Obesity Pathway at Level 2, and will offer evidence based opportunities for people in North Wales who wish to lose weight.

The Specialist Dietitian will support the Lead Dietitian in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to the Level 2 Service across the Health Board, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-agency community teams. The Service will comprise a Band 7 Lead, two Specialist Band 6 dietitians, and a Band 3 Dietetic Assistant, working across the Health Board.

You will also remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of over 80 dietitians delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. We deliver clinical placements for students, and have secretarial and assistant support.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
