- Be experienced in multidrop route planning & supply chain planning
- Have a network in the UK transports and logistics industry
- Be familiar with logistics software (e.g. VerizonConnect)
- Be familiar with transport law (tachograph rules, operator’s licence provisions, etc.)
- Be confident with Microsoft packages, especially Excel
- Enjoy handling large amounts of data and preparing reports
- Be experienced in demand planning and stock forecasting
- Be familiar with customs procedures (would be a plus)
- Be familiar with health & safety regulations
- Have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a high willingness to learn
- Be extremely organised, proactive and have the ability to manage time effectively
- Be passionate to work in a collaborative team where everyone has each other’s back

**Your typical duties will include**
- Ensuring the smooth running of all vehicle fleet and stock planning activities
- Deploying staff and vehicles based on cost, time and legal requirements
- Obtaining quotes and make decisions regarding the procurement of goods and services for the fleet and warehouse
- Negotiating and coordinating with third party haulage suppliers to build strong long-term relationships for domestic and international transportation
- Monitoring the care, maintenance and servicing of all vehicles in the vehicle fleet
- Conducting regular health & safety activities
- Working closely with all operational positions to constantly meet customer requests, taking into account profitability and internal work instructions
