**Position**: Care Assistant

**Location**: Hitchin

**Salary**: £11.60 - £12.95 per hour

**Contract**: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

**About the role**:
As a Care Assistant you will be offered flexible working hours and an excellent personalised training programme and a wonderful opportunity to develop your skills as a Care Assistant in the specialist field of neurological care. Shifts can be 12 or 13 hours3 times a week, you will:

- Promote choice in the delivery of care and support. Reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the individuals’ experience.
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
- Participate in care planning implementation and review.
- Promote the values, build morale and encourage others to perform to high standards

**About The organisation**:
You will be working at a specialist neurological care centre based in Hertfordshire, caring for people aged 18 and over a range of neurological conditions. They provide the care people need to optimise their health and wellbeing, maximise their independenceand support their emotional and social needs.

The role is located 8 miles outside Hitchin in the village of St Paul's Walden. Due to its location access to your own transport is required.
