**Rate**:£45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Reporting to the Business Management System (BMS) Quality Assurance Manager, you will work closely with all functions plus Customers, Regulatory Agencies, Certification Bodies and Suppliers to monitor and maintain compliance. You will monitor the BMS effectivenessand compliance through Audits and subsequent CAPA activities and **facilitate continual improvement** through business process improvement activities.

As a Lead Auditor you will support the supplier selection and approval process to ensure that suitability and compliance to the Supplier Requirements Manual and Product design data.

You will be responsible for:

- To ensure compliance with UK CAA Part 21G, Part 21O, Part 145, EASA Part 145 & AS9100 Approvals. Support regulatory, certification body and customer audits.
- **Consistent identification, improvement, and development to the internal BMS.**:

- Prepare and perform regular audits of the BMS, report on audit conclusions and corrective actions. Raise and manage CAR (Full 8D - Containment, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventative Actions).
- Perform regular audits of suppliers against their own BMS, perform regular performance reviews of suppliers, review supplier submitted FAI’s, validate Supplier FAIR, raise, and issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).
- Provide internal awareness training to all employees (Induction, counterfeit awareness, certifying staff, Part 21G, Product handling, FAI)
- Support the development and implementing new systems into the company where required. Develop new training programs.
- Plan and support/prepare bi-annual management reviews. On-boarding of supplier, including initial audits

As a Senior Quality Systems Auditor, you should have the following competencies or skills:

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to build strong working relationships and influence at all levels. Strong organisational, reporting, procedure writing & process mapping skills
- **Strong experience in working with Quality Management Systems within the aerospace industry. Comprehensive understanding of aerospace quality standards and requirements (formal ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100 qualifications), comprehensive understandingof relevant aerospace regulatory standards (EASA part 21G, EASA part 145, EASA part 21O, EASA part 21J)**:

- Proven experience in auditing (internal and suppliers) and managing the audit programme. Valid internal / lead auditor certificate for ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100. **Experience in managing audits in the aerospace OASIS database.**:

- **In-depth understanding of quality tools and techniques and quality control procedures**:

- Understanding of DOA-POA agreements, certifying staff, human factors and FOD and FAIR requirements
- Experience in liaison with third parties, including, but not limited to certification bodies, regulatory authorities (i.e., EASA, CAA), customers and suppliers
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and statistics
- Excellent **Q-Pulse knowledge** and experience is required.
- EPICOR (ERP) software experience preferred. Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
