Warehouse Operations Manager - Southampton

Do you want to become a key part of the biggest warehouse in Southampton that transports various cargo across the UK, from multi-million-pound cars to chocolate bars?
An established and successful freight forwarding company are Seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager in Southampton This company operates an inclusive workplace with a relaxed and positive culture. The importance of this role requires a detail orientated anddriven individual who can effectively communicate with stakeholders in the business and develop a collaborative team. You will be responsible for leading a team and driving continuous improvements within warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the office and shop floor teams to improve efficiency and manage monthly KPI’s.
- Effectively communicate across the business ensuring any business changes are delivered successfully.
- Hold regular meetings/briefings with individuals with the aim to maintain a high performing culture.
- Support with the recruitment process across the whole Warehouse.
- Work closely with other Managers to oversee transport compliance, vehicle maintenance and administration.
- Close management of stock control including loads in and loads out.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Team and Health and Safety Advisor to ensure warehouse machinery is maintained to an excellent standard and good housekeeping practice is followed.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of ETSF and Cleared Cargo Freight
- Experience in leading/developing teams and individuals
- Self-motivated and able to work as an individual but also as a team
- Knowledge of budgets
- Effective communicator and ability to manage key stakeholders
- Resilience
- IT Literate

Working Hours
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm

**Benefits**:

- Salary - £28,000 - £32,000 DOE.
