We are a local, long established family run business that specialises in manufacturing a range of class leading, specialist commercial vehicles supplied throughout the UK. Our modern office, showroom and workshops are located just 5 miles from Lincoln City Centre.

Due to continued expansion we require an experienced goods inward/outward and stock control supervisor

**It is essential that you will be able to hit the ground running having at least 3 years goods inward/outward and stock control experience**

It’s an important varied and busy role where no two days are the same

**Key Responsibilities**

Monitor and log all staff/customer/supplier arrivals and departures permitting entry to authorised personnel and vehicles only

Monitor all deliveries goods inward and outward completing relevant administration

To quality check/inspect all goods inwards against original orders, delivery notes and to check for accuracy reporting any damages

Ensure payment received, correct packaging and labelling of all goods and orders for dispatch

Manage goods outwards with couriers

Take accurate notes to complete reports, log book entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Ensure visitors adhere to H&S rules and manage vehicle traffic on site being a banksman as and when required

Control access of contractors, checking validity and carry out inductions if required.

To issue contractors permits, ensuring they are signed and completed following works.

Deal with customers, suppliers, staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Carry out new vehicle customer handovers and collections

Off loading of goods with fork lift if required

**Essential Skills**

Have at least 3 years goods inward/outward and stock control experience

High level of professionalism, ability to use initiative and be adaptable

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent customer service skills

Good organisational and time management skills

Capability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player

Happy to work outside even in bad weather conditions

Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude even when working under pressure

Forklift Counter balance licence is required

**The package we're offering**:
Excellent basic salary of £25,000 to £28,000 (dependent upon experience)

Working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm
