- IT operations or management
- IT supplier management (working with account managers, project managers, developers)
- Budget control & DR planning
- ISO 27001 compliance for the company
- Leading on any Security/Information questions and Issues
- Ensuring System security meets business and legal requirements including physical environment and security, server patching, logins/passwords, system access, backups & business continuity, virus checking, audit trails, remote access, and internet security
- Ensure best possible availability of services and data
- Deliver small technology-based projects
- Increase the efficiency of operations through integration
- Drive the use of IT through innovation
- Ability to demonstrate a continual improvement plan
- Ability to validate suggested solutions from a technical level and ensure the solutions are implemented

**Person Specification**:

- IT operational experience is a must with enough operational and business process experience to identify where bottlenecks or inefficiencies can be assisted/overcome with available technology
- Sufficient technical understanding to participate in conversations about, infrastructure, web technologies, software development and databases
- Technical knowledge of: Managing an Office 365 environment incl. Policies, defender, Intune
- Microsoft Windows, Servers, and laptops
- Networking: WAN, LAN, VLAN, WiFi
- IT Security
- Cloud services, AWS and Azure
- System integration
- Able to deliver small to medium size technology projects (team sizes of fewer than 10)

**Should have**:

- Ability to build and maintain remote working relationships
- Ability to establish creditability with suppliers
- Be able to mediate between two or more suppliers to find problem resolutions
- A tendency to be more process and operational rather than entrepreneurial
- Technical writing skills
- Problem solving skills
- Some team leadership experience
- Ability to travel within Europe (appx once every three weeks or less frequently)

**Additional Information**:

- Based in Leatherhead
- £50,000 per annum (+ Annual Performance related bonus)

- 22 days holiday increasing by 1 day per year up to a max of 25 days
- 3 month probation period
