We're looking for somebody who has the ambition to grow with our small, but expanding business, entering our fifth year of trading we're looking for a person that will take pride in the work they do to help move the company further forward and in turn grow their own career and with that, their level of responsibility.

Day to day responsibilities will vary, meaning you're constantly learning a variety of new skills, including operation of large machinery such as CNC Router & Wider Format Printer, use of hand tools and power tools, production processes such as working with adhesives and chemicals, flame polishing, laminating and laying of print, installation of LED lighting within signs along with simple electronics.

In addition to the above you'll be expected over time to introduce and develop new ideas that enhance your own productivity and that of the company's.

This is at times a high pressure role where you need to be comfortable working to tight deadlines while maintaining a constant level of quality workmanship, but it's also an extremely rewarding role which uniquely allows you to take pride in seeing your finished work on businesses and buildings of all sizes and stature, both locally and nationally.

No direct experience is necessary as full training will be provided, however you are expected to demonstrate your suitability for the role along with any existing skills and interests relevant to the position, such as joinery, fabrication, installation, production, print, creativity, graphic design or a general head for DIY and working with your hands.

Potential to study towards a Level 3 qualification in Sign Making.

Driving license preferred.

Business currently based in Wigan but potentially looking to re-locate to Chester City Centre in approxiamately 6 months so please consider this prior to applying.
