Originally Kingston-Upon-Hull’s only convent, Endsleigh Park has been converted into comfortable and modern living spaces, benefiting from a 48-bedroom hotel and a portfolio of onsite apartments for residential letting; all within four acres of grounds and managed by our dedicated team.

We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for hospitality who is organised, an excellent communicator and has a hands-on, positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience in this position would be advantageous, however, we welcome applicants with housekeeping experience wanting a new challenge.

Duties and responsibilities to include:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel and public areas of Endsleigh Park.

Performing a variety of cleaning activities in guest bedrooms including changing beds, cleaning ensuite bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and emptying bins.

Completing apartment cleans and ensuring communal areas of the apartments are cleaned to a high standard.

Motivate and encourage a small team.

Organise and prioritise daily tasks, timetables and assist in the rotas for housekeeping personnel.

Ensure our standard working practices, policies and procedures are met by leading by example and completing standard checks.

Communicating and engaging with guests.

Handle specific employer requests regarding cleaning and organisation.

Attend regular meetings with the management team, to discuss and set daily, weekly, and monthly goals and targets.

Key skills required:
Experienced in hotel Housekeeping.

Have the ability to manage, organise and motivate a team.

Have a good knowledge of Health and Safety at work requirements, Infection Control & COSHH.

Have excellent communication skills and be able to keep and maintain records.

Be self-motivated, reliable, forward thinking and have good time management.
