We’re looking for experienced property claims handlers who are searching for a new challenge in a role which offers career progression into property adjusting or already experienced field adjusters.

You will be part of a supportive team within a fast-paced environment who have a passion for delivering exceptional results and efficient resolution of domestic property claims. Utilising your technical knowledge in property claims, you will visit customers properties to assess damage, determine liability in accordance with their policy terms and conditions and put together a plan of action for swift conclusion. Working with your dedicated adjusting executive, you will be able to manage customer claims and ensure that they are resolved effectively, and that they receive the best possible outcome.

You will be dealing with claim of values of up to £100k and as such, no two days will be the same and this will allow you to take on a variety of claims ranging in complexity. Our adjusters adopt a mix of site, home and office-based working throughout the week which aids a healthy work life balance.

- Good understanding of insurance sector and policies and claim processes
- Technical knowledge to enable you to carry out property damage assessments or basic understanding of construction of a domestic property

**Your new role will involve**:

- Interact with policyholders, insurance companies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Assessing the cause and extent of the loss and determining liability as to whether the customer’s policy provides coverage and considering exclusions if applicable
- Dealing with challenging and sometimes complex situations and being able to provide accurate conclusions based on evidence from thorough investigations
- Determining the appropriate compensation and route of repair
- Handle multiple claims simultaneously, and as you’ll be planning your own week, you must effectively manage your time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines to ensure timely resolution of claims
- You will provide excellent customer service, showing understanding and support throughout the claims process
- Reach fair and satisfactory settlements for all parties
- Maintain professional standards and adhering to GDPR processes, codes of conduct and avoiding conflicts in interest
- Whilst the role offers a mix of hybrid working between home and the office when you are not on-site visits, we would require your attendance
