Your contractual location is flexible across the Midlands and East of England Region. We're happy for you to work at any of our regional hubs or properties, that are appropriate for this role, and there will be an opportunity to explore and agree a hybrid workingarrangement which strikes the right balance for you and the Trust.
The role will involve regular travel to our places and other office hubs to meet with stakeholders and your teams. What you'll be doing In this role you will lead a new programme of regional legacy fundraising, which includes on-property promotion, events,and internal training. You’ll report to the Head of Legacy Development and work closely with the Head Office team in a one-team approach to contribute to the success of our organisational legacy programme.
You’ll be great with people, inspiring them to take action - whether that’s staff, volunteers, or supporters. Encouraging them to tell legacy stories at their own places and ensuring the best are brought into our central communications. You’ll be a storytelleryourself, bringing the impact of legacies to life for enquirers and pledgers and hosting engaging events. You’ll confidently steer a new programme of work, contributing insight and experience from the legacy fundraising sector.

- Be comfortable communicating with a range of people on a daily basis, creating relationships and inspiring others by sharing your love for the National Trust and our work

- Have a thorough knowledge of legacy fundraising and audiences
- Have experience of delivering fundraising programmes of national scale at a local level
- Have a supporter focus, enjoy connecting with legacy enquirers and pledgers at a 1:1 level
- Be a strategic thinker and make performance-based decisions
