Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a People & Organisation (P&O) Coordinator with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

The role holder assists with the work of the Regional Services Lead in support of Regional Services plans and projects. Work is assigned by the manager, with specific direction and periodic review of progress and results, although the role holder will be required to work autonomously with the assigned task and liaise with the business as required regarding details. Work will be delivered in accordance with functional process, policy and guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assists Team Lead with specific work activities
- Supports onboarding of Trade & Craft employees
- Supports Shared Service Centre activities as required in support of the employee life-cycle
- Support the transition of Administration tasks from East Business Units to Shared Service Centre
- Undertake relevant training with Shared Service Centre to ensure understanding of processes transitioned
- Compile process maps where appropriate
- Support Executive Medical process
- Support Business Partnering Teams with activities that have not been transitioned to Shared Service Centre
- Support Policy and Governance East Team as required
- Point of Escalation for Right to Work checks

Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:

- Good standard of education - HR or business related qualification preferred
- Working towards Membership of CIPD preferred

Job specific experience:

- Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks
- Knowledge of UK Business Processes
- Previous experience in an HR environment preferred
- Understanding of offshore/site working e.g. rotas, pay, etc

- Good verbal and written communication skills
