Job Title: Bar Staff/front of house

Job Summary:
As a member of our bar staff team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our patrons. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar, and ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Customer Service:

- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take customer orders and answer any inquiries about the menu.
- Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of drinks to patrons.
- Engage in polite and attentive conversation with customers.
- Respond to customer complaints or concerns, seeking resolution promptly.

2. Drink Preparation:

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Follow recipes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide customers with correct change.
- Adhere to responsible serving practices and verify customers' age when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies.

3. Bar Maintenance:

- Clean and sanitize glassware, bar utensils, and equipment.
- Organize and replenish supplies, such as straws, napkins, and garnishes.
- Stock and rotate alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring freshness.
- Perform routine maintenance on bar equipment and report any issues to management.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

4. Collaboration:

- Work closely with other bar staff members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to fulfill customer requests and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in training new bar staff members, as required.
- Collaborate with management to develop new drink recipes and promotions.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of different types of drinks, cocktail preparation, and garnishing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
