**P/T HR Coordinator - Hampton (free parking) - £16,331 (based on full time salary of £34,022) School experience not essential. Background checks will be conducted by the school.**

**22.5 hours per week, working days are flexible. The post is for 37 weeks per year, which is term time (34 weeks) with an additional 3 weeks.**

Leading Independent day school, set in beautiful grounds requires an HR Coordinator to support the Director of HR in the provision of high-quality, efficient day to day management of the use of casual staff and contractors at the School. **As HR Coordinator, some of your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Build effective relationships with departments across the school and external con
- tractors to ensure compliance on safeguarding is observed and applied at all times
- Look after HR records, data management, and the efficient administration of all casual staff recruitment and attendance-related operations, policies, and procedures
- Carry out right-to-work, DBS, and suitability to work with children checks and re
- checks as required, and in adherence with the Keeping Children Safe in Education regulations and Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) guidance.
- Ensure that all employment and compliance documentation is sought, collated, and recorded correctly, signed off by the Director of HR, and accessible for any fu
- ture audit that may be undertaken
- Promote efficiency by creating and implementing improved operational procedures
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the HR team on any recruitment needs
- Ensure compliance at all times with employment law and keep up to date with developments in employment legislation.

To fulfil the role of HR Coordinator you must be/have:

- Demonstrable level of experience within an HR role with compliance responsibilities
- Accuracy, reliability and a commitment to high standards
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
