**We are wanting to recruit a team of coaches that can deliver a programme of support known as Active Monitoring, supporting people's mental wellbeing. You will be based in Nottinghamshire G.P surgeries and surrounding Towns and villages.**

**You must hold a full driving licence and have access to own transport to deliver the requirements of the job description. The post holder will be required to travel to the surgeries on a weekly basis.**

**Requirements.**
- Educated to a good standard and/or at least two years relevant working experience.

English and Mathematics at GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
- Experience of using social care skills working face to face with the public and / or experience of providing mental health/wellbeing services to clients within a primary care setting.
- Knowledge of common mental health presentations and of the issues relating to supporting people with a range of mental health and emotional wellbeing issues and a working knowledge of safeguarding considerations, risk assessments and health and safety.

You should be able to assess clients for suitability and make appropriate referrals when necessary and be able to work therapeutically with clients with a broad range of issues.

Are you able to motivate people to engage in self-help activities?

We would like you to be able to assess and manage client risk and safeguarding issues, manage and achieve targets including data collection and input and be able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in an effective and accessible way with clients, staff and external agencies or partners.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Can you prioritise, manage a varied workload and manage time effectively?

We require you to be able to work independently and operate with minimum supervision, being self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed, able to seek advice and support where appropriate as well as working collaboratively as part of a team

You need to be able to manage professional boundaries, deal with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality both in and out of the workplace and have awareness of and commitment to the principles of equality and diversity.

This role requires personal resilience and a flexible attitude in the face of difficulties and an ability to manage your own wellbeing

Appreciation of and a commitment to, working within the framework of Nottinghamshire Mind policies and procedures is expected.

We would require you to be flexible in approach and willing to work occasional unsocial hours when required.
