Job Introduction
**Key Responsibilities**
- As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to ESS, suppliers and customers equipment’s according to manufacturer’s specifications to a high standard. You will ensure that equipment is inspected thoroughly and serviced ready for hires and all spares are requested in order to facilitate the speedy repair of equipment.
- You will deliver technical handovers for our equipment hire and also deliver or collect equipment on site to comply with orders in a timely manner. An on call service is provided by the branch which will mean out of hours working at the refinery on a rota basis.
- Taking responsibility for the health and safety, you must make certain that the business is compliant with HSE legislation and offers a safe working environment for the team as a whole but also for individual employees within their roles.

**What we’re looking for**
- Good basic knowledge of how to repair and maintain light and heavy plant equipment i.e. air compressors, generators, pumps, telehandlers etc.
- Time served Apprenticeship/Relevant NVQ or similar qualifications
- Experience of working in refineries or petrochemical sites.
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot and fault find under pressure
- Valid driving licence
