**Skills & Experience:
- **
- Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on HGVs, demonstrating a track record of diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
- A strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and standards, with an emphasis on safety and quality.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools relevant to HGV maintenance.
- An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair, specifically for heavy vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence, with an HGV licence being highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, coupled with a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- The capacity to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
