Experienced Powder Coater

BA Wheels specialises in the pre-treatment, powder coating and wet coating of aluminium, steel wheels.

We are looking for an experienced powder coater and/or paint sprayer to join our growing team. The individual will be working as part of a small team within our workshop and will be expected to carry out a range of duties in addition to the coating of customer wheels. A proactive approach is desired.

**Duties Will Include**:

- Powder coating to a high standard
- Wet spraying to a high standard
- Preparation, use and maintainence of online plant
- Inspection of finished goods using visual, mechanical methods to ensure that the coating’s finish, thickness and adhesion meets quality controls
- Making decisions on whether to “pass or reject’ finished products
- Completing paperwork for quality control and administration purposes
- Manual handling of products
- Maintaining good housekeeping within their work space
- Be able to carry out their daily/weekly maintenance of spray equipment
- Be willing to work overtime when required
- Have a good attention to detail
- Be able to carry out repetitive work in a fast and accurate manner
- Take pride in their work space
- Be able to make decisions and be prepared to work on their own and as part of team when necessary
- Be physically fit and able bearing in mind the role involves lots of manual handling (solo and team lifting)
- The standard working week is 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Dependant on experience plus performace related bonus scheme after probation period

**Salary**: £11.44-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)
