Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Central Adlington

Pay: £10 per hour

Hours: 8.00 - 16.30

A fantastic opportunity to work for a rapidly growing business in Adlington, who specialise in the restoration of designer furniture.

The role is suited to somebody who has experience working in a busy warehouse or industrial workplace. An interest and understanding of DIY or from a trades background would be preferred but not essential. It's also suited to individuals who like to learnand don't mind carrying out tasks that develop them as a person and helps the team.

Role:
Inbound/Outbound of trailers

Picking & Palletizing orders

Confirming deliveries match manifests

Checking damage of furniture

Checking for missing parts VS spec

Inputting data onto a computer (basis knowledge is preferred)

Other Duties:
Keep working area clean and tidy

Helping teammates move furniture

Reporting any H&S issues or Improvement ideas

Assist and learn from engineers how to restore furniture

ESSENTIAL:
Must be physically fit (may involve heavy lifting of furniture)

Keen eye for detail

Must be willing to learn

Must be able to work as part of a team

DESIREABLE:
Access to a vehicle/bike due to location

Worked in a similar role
