We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Rotational Band 5 Dietitian with a passion for food and nutrition to join our friendly and supportive adult acute team at the Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust.

The Dietitians at the Royal United Hospital include acute adult, paediatric and community dietetic teams. You will be based in the acute adult dietetic team and have shared responsibility for a caseload of wards. You will benefit from attachments to senior colleagues in rotational areas such as Oncology, Gastroenterology, Surgery and Critical Care. There will also be opportunities to review outpatients. You will work, learn and develop alongside our therapy colleagues in speech and language, physiotherapy and occupational therapy based within a new, purpose built building.

We are always looking for ways to improve patient care and the Dietetics department is excited to have led on the purchase of an indirect calorimeter, via charitable funds, to improve our estimation of nutritional requirements which the post holder will have opportunity to train on and use in their clinical practice.

We train student dietitians from the University of Plymouth and this post will be actively involved with student training.
