The Optometry Programme, within the School of Health Professions at the University of Plymouth, is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our group and be part of our teaching and research activities.

You will work as part of the Optometry team to provide innovative teaching including; the design and preparation of teaching materials, course planning and delivery, and assessment. We are proud to be ranked as one of the top programmes for student satisfaction in the most recent National Student Survey.

Please note, it is typical for applicants with no prior lecturing experience to start towards the lower end of the advertised scale.

We have vacancies for:
**Position 1** - part-time position working 14.8 hours per week on a permanent basis.

**Position 2 **- part-time position working 14.8 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for a period of 24 months to cover a period of absence.

Flexible working options including job share will be considered.

You must currently be registered with the following registration board: General Optical Council (GOC).

**These roles will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus a Children’s Barred List and Adults Barred List check.**
