We are an innovative and expanding Pharmacy Service looking for a reliable, flexible and customer focused individual to support the delivery of patient focused care through partnership. The individual will support the dispensing of Out-Patient and Homecare prescriptions as well as providing support to the Gateshead Stop Smoking Service. The role and responsibility requires the applicant to work well as an individual and as part of a team.
Applicants are required to have Pharmacy Service Skills NVQ Level 2 (QCF) Qualification for Dispensing or a Community Pharmacy dispensing qualification with dispensing experience gained in a hospital pharmacy or community pharmacy. Applicants will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to explain clearly and listen to members of the public and other healthcare professionals, excellent customer service skills, IT skills and must be able to work effectively as part of a team under pressure and have a flexible attitude to work to meet service needs.
