**Location**: Priority House, Reception, Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 9PH

**Shift Pattern**:12 hours per week, Monday & Wednesday, 13:00 - 19:00

**About the Trust**

Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust is a Mental Health Trust and, given the nature this post, may include exposure to distressing information and circumstances**.**

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Working in a Mental Health Unit.
- Answering telephone calls and transferring to wards, departments at Priority House.
- First point of contact on reception
- Greeting visitors, staff attending site
- Directing staff/ visitors to wards other areas.
- Issuing parking permits to staff & visitors.
- The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above._

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Reception experience
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Microsoft package knowledge - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
