A rewarding and progressive opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing multi-faceted organisation on a full-time, permanent basis. The organisation is headed by an entrepreneurial chief executive who is developing businesses acrossprivate company investments, property investments, leisure businesses, farming and related food production investments.

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, the role is as part of the financial services team who look after a variety of interests. This role will mainly be working on the accounts for one particular company, however, as the No.2 within the financeteam, you will also be required to support the Financial Controller across the wider business.

Main duties:

- Delivery of weekly/monthly reports, budgets/plans, commentaries and financial statements with support from the Finance Controller.
- Responsible for accounting data administration, Accounts receivable & payable management including weekly payment runs for the Finance Director.
- Daily and monthly accounting software reconciliations.
- Processing of quarterly VAT returns.
- Processing of project and commercial documentation.
- Processing of commercial contract documentation.
- General payroll management and HR admin.
- Support on software development and assistance with general IT issues.
In order to be considered, you must be/have the following:

- Experience of reporting, building budgets/plans, VAT returns, Payroll, & Monthly reconciliations.
- Previous experience of accounting systems, preferably Xero Software.
- Excellent excel skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to work to deadlines & excellent organisation skills.
- Willingness to use your own initiative to drive improvements and implement efficient processes.

As the offices are based in a beautiful rural location, it is imperative that the post holder has their own transport and is able to drive.
