Christchurch, United Kingdom Circular11 Full time

About Us:
Circular11 takes waste-bound plastic waste, and turns it into outdoor products that are more durable than timber whilst having a net-negative carbon footprint. We are a recycling and manufacturing start-up that is developing cutting-edge technology that enables plastic to have a positive impact on people and planet at every point in it’s lifetime, and our vision is a world in which low-grade plastic is used to replace the 500 million tonnes of outdoor infrastructure currently made out of timber.

The role will focus on the following core set of activities:

- Learn and assist in setting out, measuring, cutting and shaping of our material.
- Learn and assist in the assembly of components, using a range of joinery techniques.
- Learn to operate and maintain carpentry hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Learn to operate a variety of power tools and fixed workshop machinery including the operation of plastic processing equipment.
- Carry out quality checks against specification and take remedial action where required or instructed.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and follow safe work practices to protect yourself and others.
- Maintain a clear and tidy workspace at all times.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team whilst bringing a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
