Liverpool, United Kingdom Bees Knees Nursery (Parkland Partnership) Full time

**Responsibilities for the ideal applicant include but are not limited to the following**:

- **To be a leader and manage a staff team supporting management to ensure high quality and standards throughout the early years setting.**:

- **To be fully aware of and uphold the legal requirements set out by the EYFS statutory framework (September 2020) at all times.**:

- **To understand, implement and adhere to the nursery's policies and procedures at all times**:

- **Operate a program of 'In the Moment' activities suitable to the interests of children in your care and in conjunction with other staff in line with children’s individual needs.**:

- **To keep an official record of achievement file on your key children for our families in attendance.**:

- **Work with families of SEND children to give full integration into the setting.**:

- **Support all staff and engage in a hardworking staff team.**:

- **Liaise and support parents and other family members.**:

- **To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, Christmas party etc. Be flexible within working practices and be prepared to help out where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the setting e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc**:

- **To develop your role within the team, especially with regard to your key person responsibilities. Work alongside the manager and staff team to ensure that the philosophy behind our 'vision' is fulfilled.**:

- **To respect the confidentiality of information received.**:

- **To provide a high quality earl years and family orientated environment to meet the needs of individual children from different cultures, religious backgrounds, and stages of development.**:

- **To be proactive in safeguarding all children at all times.**

**The right applicant**:

- **Must hold a relevant Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification**:

- **Must have experience of managing as part of a staff team**:

- **Have a secure knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and how to promote individual development through partnership working with families and other professionals**:

- **Have extensive knowledge of safeguarding procedures.**:

- **Extensive knowledge of school readiness and SEN is desired**:

- **A paediatric first aid certificate is desirable.**

**A DBS will be required for this position and satisfactory references.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 - 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.61 per hour
