An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic Band 4 Therapy Assistants to join the new discharge to recover and assess (D2RA) service in the Central area of BCUHB.
This service aims to facilitate early discharge from hospital and prevent admission to hospital. You will be working with patients with a wide variety of diagnoses providing support to the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to provide assessment and intervention in their home environment.

Significant current experience of working within acute/community services is essential. You will play a supportive role in the development of this service whilst also ensuring person centred care is delivered in a timely manner, to patients in their own homes. Recent and relevant experience in a therapy healthcare setting is desirable.
You will deliver routine physiotherapeutic treatment programmes and delegated occupational therapy intervention plans independently and progress treatments within guidelines and protocols. You will be accountable for these tasks.
