**Job Title**:Foundry Operative**
**Position reports to**:Jack Hutchison (Production Manager)
**Job purpose**:
**To support and enable the professional and profitable running of the company by**:
- Using specified production techniques that produce required quality and maintains its ISO accreditation
- Accurately record and keep production/stock data to enable further analysis as required
**Area of responsibility**
- You will be responsible for work in the investment area, from the point of moulds being assembled to the point of them being unloaded for the robot. You will do all the hand dipping, loading, unloading and running the robot, and general upkeep of the area
**Key responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Ensure department production targets are met
- Efficiently manage raw material use
- Conduct accurate stock-takes
- Provide assistance to other departments when required
- Monitor performance of department equipment
- Specifically responsible for the compliance of your own and colleagues adoption of safe working practices and the wearing of correct safety clothing and equipment within the department.

- Lead and advise on areas of own technical expertise
- Commercial awareness
- Application of knowledge and experience to positively influence technical decision making
**Technical competencies**:
- Working knowledge of ISO standards applicable to your department
- Train non-specialists in use of department’s equipment and systems when required
- Positively influence technical decision making
**Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager.**

Pay: From £24,141.75 per year
