We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person to support the Commercial Services and High Cost Medicines Manager and Homecare Lead in the day-to-day delivery of Homecare services.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and skills within a diverse, fast paced and developing area of Pharmacy. Applicants must be enthusiastic and driven with the ability to manage multiple work streams.

You will also contribute towards the future development of the service through participation in Team meetings and developing new and improved ways of working.

Full training will be given to obtain the skills and knowledge required to offer service support and ongoing development of services.

Skills in navigation and reporting via Microsoft Office are essential.

**Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.**

To provide support to the CSHCD Homecare Lead and Support in the development and maintenance of systems supporting homecare.

Assist in the development of Homecare Services.

To support implementation of recommendations for commissioned reports and Royal Pharmaceutical Society standards.

To support in prescription management and invoice payment

To support auditing and complaint and incident management.

To ensure all funding requirements are adhered to.

Our specialist cancer treatments include bone marrow transplant, sarcoma surgery and hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer surgery (not exhaustive). We work closely with our community partners in delivering comprehensive health and social care including general practice, care homes, mental health, neurological rehabilitation, and general medicine.

- To provide support to the CS&HCD Homecare Lead and Support in development and maintenance of systems supporting homecare.
- Assist in the strategic development of Homecare services.
- Process homecare prescriptions in a timely manner:

- Process homecare invoices in a timely manner.
- Escalate any prescription discrepancies to the prescriber and chase any outstanding prescription resolutions in a timely manner.
- Escalate any clinical queries to the Lead Pharmacist for Clinical Commissioning and Medicines Optimisation or other pharmacist.
- Check for appropriate Blueteq funding approvals, escalate missing Blueteq’s to clinicians or administrators and audit outstanding responses.
- Maintain Blueteq Drug lists for Homecare relevant medication.
- Check for trough levels and panel approvals for Immunoglobulin patients and update relevant databases.
- To raise invoice discrepancies with homecare providers, review resolutions and chase outstanding responses.
- To inform the CSHCD Homecare Lead/support of price changes outside of specified parameters.
- Process credits using the Pharmacy system.
- Regularly carry out archiving of invoices.
- Review the monthly KPI reports and record the data required.
- Maintain any homecare documentation for therapies which require monitoring.
- Support any reporting requirements.
- Ensure Datix’s or deviations are completion when required.
- Support service review meetings.
- Support the management of the homecare companies’ statement of accounts.
- Review the received invoices that have not been processed and investigate.
- Support contract price update management.
