**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
**Who will you be supporting?**
- Byland Court is a supported living project for 10 people with mental health care needs and some possibly on the dementia pathway. Each will have a self contained flat and be supported by our social workers with daily tasks where necessary.
- Our residents will need support ranging from, personal care, house keeping, meals and cooking assistance, trips to shops and taking part in local activities

**What is important to us?**
- We need empathic, patient staff to provide person-centered support to individuals who will be moving here and help them settle into their new lives.
- You will encourage and support people to engage in the local community, clubs, cinema, shows, days out, gym, pub lunches shopping, and activities of our personal choice.
- You will be supporting people to work towards person-centred outcomes, enabling them to maintain independence.

**Other information?**
- We will be closely working with new partnerships, exciting new prospects, and activities for the entire community to enjoy.
- The property is in the market town of Skelton, a short distance from Saltburn, Redcar, and Middlesbrough.

Regular buses link the town with Middlesbrough, Easton, and beyond.
- We will have a core background team on duty 24/7 so there is overnight shifts and we will provide additional 1:1 support.
