Here at GXO, we’re looking for a **Shift Supervisor** to join us at our Carlsberg site in **Northampton**.
You’ll provide leadership and guidance for your team of warehouse colleagues to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication and addressing operational issues effectively.
This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working on 4 on 4 off 06:00 - 18:00 18:00 - 06:00 shift pattern.
**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer an hourly rate of **£34,573.36.** In addition, we offer 18 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Ensure that day-to-day operational changes are incorporated into the department standards
- Continuously strive to improve the operational effectiveness of the site, to ensure high quality of service to customers
- Ensure all colleagues comply with company procedures and are aware of their own responsibilities to others
- Monitoring key performance indicators for the area

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams to ensure excellent performance
- The ability to work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality
- An understanding of key operational cost drivers and cost centre management
