Purchasing Administrator

We’re hiring for a confident **Purchasing Administrator** to join a small purchasing team based in **Poynton, Stockport**. With more than 25 operations across 12 countries, you’ll be part of a market-leading organisation who have employee wellness at the heart of all they do.

**What will you be doing as a Purchasing Administrator?**
- Running MRP reports at required frequency to identify Purchase requirements and convert these to Vendor Purchase Orders
- Running ROP reports at required frequency to identify Purchase requirements and convert these to Vendor Purchase Orders
- Following BWT defined expenditure authorisation and ensure all Purchase Orders are sent to Vendors in a timely manner
- Running weekly Order Book review processes for reconciliation
- Converting electronic Requisitions into Purchase Orders and sending to Vendors
- Daily liaison with suppliers and internal customers such as Sales; Planning; Stores; Quality; Engineering

**What do you need?**
- Experience in a multi-SKU manufacturing environment using MRP system for purchased materials planning and procurement
- Basic Excel skills essential - e.g. comfortable understanding where formulas are used
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred - e.g. Pivot Tables / vlookup
- Analytical approach to cross-functional problem solving
- The ability to understand basic engineering drawings would be an advantage
- Diligent with attention to detail
- Numerate and articulate
