Nanak Naam is a global charity, registered in the UK & U.S. Our offices are based in Uxbridge, North West London and we’ve been running for over 10 years now.

We have an active YouTube channel with over 700 videos, hundreds of thousands of subscribers & millions of viewers. We have a strong presence on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Tik-Tok. Through our social media channels, we actively engage with our audience and foster a sense of community among our followers.

Nanak Naam is committed to helping improve lives through Sikh teachings of nonduality, mindfulness and meditation. We create inspirational videos, tutorials, and courses on how to discover and be the best version of yourself.

**About you**

We’re looking for a highly creative, experienced and talented Producer with videography and editing skills to produce content related to meditation, mindfulness, and personal growth. If you’re a talented film-maker with experience of running a YouTube channel or equivalent, we want to hear from you

A talented and creative individual is needed who can provide engaging content across our various social media platforms. You will deliver rapid, highly shareable, trending video content and be part of a growing team as our organisation expands.

You will work on some of our major video and content projects and manage all aspects of video production, from conception, lighting, sound, shooting to editing.

**Responsibilities**
- Research and develop creative ideas to deliver our Charity’s message through video.
- Work with internal Researchers and Educators to plan and develop a schedule of shoots in accordance with our strategic goals.
- Make all the necessary preparations required for shooting videos as well as post-production. (Occasional travel as well as some evening and weekend work may be necessary on an ad-hoc basis).
- Shoot and edit film pieces in a way that is engaging to our audience and consistent with our brand.
- Source, develop and input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
- Create rough and final cuts for review.
- Convert existing videos into new and refreshing digital content (E.g. Creating short viral montages of existing content)
- Continuously discover and implement new filming and editing technologies and industry best-practices to maximize efficiency.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of relevant technical equipment and resources
- Upload, maintain and review analytics of digital content on all our social media platforms (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc)
- Maximising the donations, subscriptions and shares from video with measurable success
- Refreshing old content to create virals (at least 1 per week).
- Balance the development of our brand for video against fast turn around of video deliverables in line with our short-term goals
- Develop engaging digital content for our social media channels (Instagram, FB, WhatsApp) making good use of various features of the respective platforms such as stories and live-streaming
- Research and implement ideas to create videos on new and emerging social platforms such as TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Create templates, systems and processes for the Nanak Naam brand and look & feel through video.
- Continually testing and refining digital content through the use of analytical data (e.g A/B testing of thumbnail designs)

**Requirements - Essential**
- Must have proven, demonstrable experience in all aspects of video production with a strong portfolio.
- Experience of professional editing software (preferably Adobe Premier)
- Good understanding of producing highly engaging and shareable video content for social media platforms.
- Adept in graphics design
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- MUST be able to commute and work from our office in Uxbridge

**Highly desirable (but not essential)**
- Interest in spirituality and meditation
- Ability to read Gurmukhi or Romanised Punjabi
- Degree or Higher Education Qualification in film studies, cinematography or related field

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Uxbridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Video editing: 1 year (required)
- Video Production: 1 year (required)
