**Brewster Executive are looking to identify a Group Finance Director for a Nottingham based Engineering Company who have seen their finances double in the past 3 years whilst posting notable profits YoY.**

**Job Purpose**:
The Group Finance Director will be responsible for managing and directing the finance team, ensuring that financial goals are met, and providing strategic financial leadership across the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring that financial goals are met and budgets are adhered to
- Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring that all reports are accurate and delivered on time
- Work with the leadership team to provide financial advice and support, contributing to the development and implementation of the company's strategy
- Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, and monitor performance against these targets
- Lead the implementation of the restructure of the finance team, ensuring that the team is effectively resourced and that it operates efficiently.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, auditors, and other external parties
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements

**Key Requirements**:

- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Group Finance Director, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior finance role
- Strong contracting experience, with a track record of success in leading financial operations for a construction/engineering/manufacturing company
- Experience leading a finance team through a period of restructure or change
- Experience of implementing and managing financial systems and processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
