Responsibilties:
**Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Advisory** - provide opinions and assessments, from a financial crime perspective, on higher risk clients and transactions.
- Reviewing high risk clients and transactions for and on behalf of the bank
- Opining on potential and existing higher risk customer relationships and potential higher risk transactions, also with the support of more experienced/senior Central FS staff (depending on experience);
- Liaising with counterparts within the banking group and London Branch in relation to financial security matters;
- Escalating identified high risk activity to more experienced/senior FS staff;
- Record keeping of work undertaken as per internal procedures;
- Assisting in providing Management Information to senior managers and appropriate committees.

**Skills**:

- Practical experience within a 2nd LoD financial crime advisory role;
- Practical experience in reviewing and opining on higher risk clients and transactions, including in relation to PEP/RCAs, high risk industries/geographies/products etc.;
- Very good knowledge of the UK Money Laundering Regulations, JMLSG and other relevant industry Guidance;
- Good understanding of UK, EU and US Sanctions.
