An exciting newly created opportunity has arisen within a PE backed multinational entertainment business for an experienced Treasury Analyst/Junior Manager to develop the growing treasury function as the business goes through a period of restructuring, witha very strong potential for the role to go permanent thereafter.

This role has previous sat within core finance however with the business experiencing continual growth, the decision has now been taken to separate out the treasury duties into its own role which will reporting directly in to the Head of Financial Control.There will not be any reports/team management associated with the role initially although there will be potential to grow the function further down the line.

**Responsibilities**

Managing cash and debt
- Proactively managing treasury operations, making sure borrowing is planned, within facility limits and costs are kept to a
- Assist in the completion of group and review of local territory cash forecasts and cash flows.
- Evaluate current processes and procedures, design and implement new methodology/improvements as required.
- Assist tax and legal department in designing, implementing and directing a regular process of tax efficient cash movement from operating countries to gain optimum benefit for the Group, considering all local restrictions where
- Maintain records and operate controls relating to bank accounts and bank
- Assist tax department with information requirements regarding debt instruments g. Inputs of WHT calculations.
- Maintain strong relationships with facility agent(s)
- Review and ensure bank fees and treasury associated costs are kept to a minimum and are
- Booking FX trades where necessary and assessing the most cost effective
- Reviewing effectiveness of banking and treasury partners and assessing new services where required

Interest and FX hedge
- Review of quarterly interest hedge accounting entries prepared by external third
- Maintenance of interest and fx hedge effectiveness
- Ensuring interest expense calculation from agents is reviewed and in line with hedge where applicable
- Ownership of all hedge related reporting obligations
- Evaluate options for implementing new hedges where necessary

Reporting
- Ensure all treasury related reporting obligations under the debt documents are delivered with a high level of accuracy and in a timely manner including but not limited to leverage calculations, compliance certificates, basket analysis and interest
- Maintain corporate loan schedules and ensure accuracy of finance costs, debt and cash
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for cash and other financial instruments for the
- Support the production of the Group's Quarterly and Annual Reports for presentation to stakeholders together with any associated
- Support the completion of external audit
- Input and review IFRS 9 impairment models
- Preparing debt related forecast for inclusion in group planning

Ensuring covenant compliance
- Guaranteeing full covenant compliance at all times for all financing
- Ensure completion of accurate and timely debt covenant reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual
- Forecast future covenant positions as part of the budgeting and forecasting

This role would be an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with some demonstrable hands on experience within treasury to join a business that will give them the change to make a lasting mark.

- Accountancy qualified
- Able to demonstrate strong knowledge of treasury accounting/IFRS 9 standards
- Confident in cash and debt management
- Familiar with legal documentation and able to communicate complex agreements back to the business
- A capable Excel user, able to understand and use complex models
- Confident at cashflow forecasting across a group business
