We are currently seeking an experienced person to join the Risk & Compliance team in the role of Functional Head of IMR - Market Risk.
In this role, you will:

- Lead a global team of quantitative analysts in the Traded Risk - Market Risk stream within IMR,
- Provide direction, review analysis and reports and ensure consistent high-quality output.
- Prioritize model review work to ensure internal and external model risk requirements are fulfilled.
- Ensure strong performance of the team under high external pressure.
- Be involved in the end-to-end model risk process within Risk Management and Markets.
- Attend Senior managers model risk forums on a regular basis.
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships, including regulators.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Deep technical experience of building and/or validating trading book models (Risk or Pricing).
- Hands-on quantitative analysis experience with trading book models.
- Strong knowledge of Market Risk models (VaR) including regulatory frameworks and expectations.
- Familiarity with FRTB is desirable.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Own experience in drafting technical documentation is essential.
- Experience of managing a team is desirable.
- Senior stakeholder management experience is essential.
