The role is based within the School or Health and Social work. The School incorporates the well-established Centre for Research in Public Health and Community Care (CRIPACC), a vibrant, multidisciplinary research centre with over 30 researchers from diverse backgrounds including nursing, public health, social sciences, social work and mental health. The School is in the process of establishing a second research centre and the post-holder will support research administration across both centres.**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Key duties include organisation of meetings and including the preparation of materials and production of meeting notes/meetings. Full administrative support for arranging events, travel and accommodation. Support of the marketing and communication of work within the research centre(s). Administrative support to the service user, carer and public involvement functions including recruitment and processing payments.**Skills and experience required**
- For this busy and challenging role, you will need excellent organisational and good IT skills. Proven experience of administrative work in a complex and dynamic organisation would be an advantage. You should be committed to providing a high-quality service and have good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You will need to be able to deal with conflicting priorities and to work under pressure with minimum supervision. In addition you will enjoy working effectively as part of a team.**Qualifications required**
- A-levels (or equivalent qualifications) or proven professional work experience.**Flexible Location Principles**
