DHL Aviation are currently recruiting for a Internal Auditor Apprentice, to join our Process Compliance department at our site at, East Midlands Airport, on a fixed term contract for the duration of the Apprenticeship.

**Key responsibilities of this role**:

- Develop an understanding of the business from an internal and commercial aspect
- Review/research management systems and operational procedures to develop understanding of the business
- Support, review and update Department documentations
- Participate in internal and external audits for management systems and operational procedures
- Complete audits and required documents, reports, presentations and closure of findings
- Communicate audit results to stakeholders
- Review, understanding, and audit data used in the business
- Work with all required business systems and software

**Training you will undertake includes**:

- End-Point Assessment (EPA): case study scenerio study and professional discussion
- Delivery Method: Online portfolio to update with learning and development, Diarised virtual appointments with a dedicated Learning Coach, Attendance to training sessions, workshops, masterclasses (online)
- Additional training to take place to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours in accordance with this Apprenticeship standard

**Qualifications that you'll gain**:

- Level 4 Internal Audit Practitioner apprenticeship standard to also include Certificate of Audit and Business Risk and Internal Audit Practitioner Certificate
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths (if required)

**You’ll bring to this role**:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT skills
- Great attention to detail
- GCSE (or equivalent Level 2 qualification) at Grade C/4or above in English and Maths. (Evidence of certificates must be provided or Functional Skills qualifications will form part of the apprenticeship.)
- Flexibility with working hours may be required. We operate 24/7 and may occasionally ask you to work outside of your normal working pattern
- Please ensure you can travel to the location comfortably before applying
- You will be required to join the Chartered Institute of Internal Audit (CIIA)
