This role is to work within the warehousing team, assisting in the day-to-day works in a busy telecommunications warehouse. This role will suit you if your currently working within a warehouse opertive role or a storesman.

Reporting to the stores manager your role will cover:
**Specific Duties**
- Accept deliveries and update the stores database to show received stock;
- Pick items ready for use on site;
- Allocate items as used on the stores database;
- Reporting on stock levels and areas for improvement monthly and quarterly;
- Ensure that the stores area is kept in a clean and tidy manner at all times;
- Ensure that all site staff comply with health and safety legislation;
- Any other duties as assigned.

**Health and Safety Responsibilities**
- Set a good example to others by working safely
- Take reasonable care of yourself and any other person who may be affected by your actions and omissions
- Adopt a positive attitude, cooperate and assist the company in all aspects of Health, Safety and the Environment
- Understand and help to implement all relevant health and safety policies and arrangements based upon the policies.

**Personal Skills**
- Full UK Driving Licence required (Less than 6 points) - This is a MUST
- FLT Counterbalance licence desirable but not essential
- Commercial awareness
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience in a fast-moving and changing industry
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets and dates
- Ability to develop, establish and maintain positive productive working relationships
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and proactive

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
