**Stoke Damerel Primary School, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Mealtime Assistant to join the School in October 2023.**

**FTE Salary**:NJC Plymouth Grade A, Point 2,£20,441 per annum (pro-rata for part time contract)

**Actual Annual Salary**:£2,458.20 per annum

**Contract Type**: Permanent, part-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year)

**Contract Hours**:5 per week, Monday to Friday, 12:00 - 13:00

**About the role**

We are looking for a dedicated Meal Time Assistant who will work within a team to ensure students are safe, secure and well supervised during lunch time.

You will be required to:

- Encourage the children to eat the meal provided and promote appropriate table manners and behaviour.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and appropriate conduct of pupils during the midday break period in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school.
- Ensure the health, safety, conduct and well-being of all pupils.
- Undertake playground duty, supervising by circulating amongst children.
- Ensure the dining area is kept clean and in a hygienic condition.
- Ensure playground equipment is used and stored properly.
