Market-leading Civil Engineering contractor, operating profitably for the last 50 years, benefitting from continued workstreams from their key client network.

They specialise in a number of Civil Engineering disciplines including Infrastructure, Water, Marine and Energy and can offer variety with their works. This is an outstanding to join a growing contractor for a General Foreman who, ideally, has demonstrable experience delivering Scottish Water contracts

Duties will include:

- Direct the work of operatives and sub-contractors.
- Ensure environmental systems are implemented satisfactorily.
- Contribute to preparation of programme.
- Plan and order materials and plant to achieve programmes.
- Keep daily records of work carried out.
- Ensure that works proceed in accordance with site programmes.
- Ensure all plant on site is suitable for the task and conforms to current legislation.
- Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
- CSCS card
- SMSTS
- Demonstrable experience as a Foreman with another civil engineering contractor
- Ability to communicate with employees and direct labour.
