**What you do**:
You will be an apprentice accountant, whose responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, scanned and filed accurately, first stage credit control and preparing records for bookkeeping. Once you have enough understanding, you will also run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. You should be well organized with attention to detail and have accuracy and aptitude for numbers

**Job details**:

- Enrolling & maintaining attendance of an appropriate accounting qualifications
- Revising for and passing relevant exams
- Ensuring attendance at all appropriate study and review sessions
- Learning through assisting as needed on various bookkeeping, accountancy, payroll & administration tasks
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Management, scanning and filing of client documents
- Reviewing and submitting unchanged Confirmation Statements
- Informing appropriate persons of changes on Confirmation Statements
- Using Practice Management system to manage workload
- Remaining certified on relevant software
- Liaising with HMRC
- Liaising & managing clients (including chasing for information)
- Managing phones
- Working professionally with colleagues
