**Main Duties & Role**:

- Ensure all parts of the nursery are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the welfare of the children and staff
- Follow daily cleaning schedule and regular deep clean
- Cleaning tasks include but are not limited to mopping, cleaning of surfaces, emptying bins, assisting with laundry, cleaning toilets, maintaining entrance hall area throughout the day
- To work with colleagues to provide a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment which fully reflects the Puddle Jumpers vision and values
- You will be responsible for ensuring the building is secure when you leave each evening
- Maintaining high standards of cleaning is a priority
- Be prepared to help as required when requested by management.

**Skills required -**
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a commercial environment (ideally nursery/school environment)
- Strong knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
- Good attention to detail
- Self-starter, highly motivated with strong organisational skills
- Be presentable and well mannered
