Excellent opportunities have arisen for friendly and enthusiastic Temporary Weekend Cashiers to work during our busy gardening season from March 2024 to July 2024

Hours of work

Days of work:
Saturdays: normally 11-4

Sundays: normally 12-5

Applicants must have completed their GSCE’s.

**Responsibilities**:
Main Duties:

- Processing and scanning customer sales through the tills in a friendly, helpful and efficient manner to provide outstanding customer service.
- Providing help and assistance to customers and promptly dealing with any enquiries.
- Talking and engaging with the customers.
- Removing security tags and wrapping and bagging products.
- Keeping till area clean and tidy.
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety and security.
- Treating stock with care and concern at all times.
- Assisting in other departments/areas in the Garden Centre when required.
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- The ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- The ability to work accurately and display attention to detail.
- Possess plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
- Flexible, positive and adaptable team player.
- Ability to listen and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn new skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £6.50-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Every weekend
