MicroCapture Ltd is an award-winning manufacturing business based in Grantham. We make specialist motion-sensitive fragrances and aromatherapy health products which we supply to some of the world's best loved brands including Kleenex and Andrex.

We are looking for a hardworking, energetic people to join our small production team based close to the centre of Grantham.

The key focus of the role is to operate in our purpose-built production facility helping to make specialist industrial fragrances and a small range of consumer healthcare products. This is not a typical factory job - the work is varied and interesting, the working environment is clean, airy and always smells great The hours can be flexible with regular paid breaks and an option to work reduced or flexible hours to fit any caring responsibilities you may have. Working as part of a small, supportive team the role will report to the Head of Production and Technical Development.

Although some experience in a production environment would be helpful it's not essential. Your positive attitude, good attention to detail and a desire to learn and do your best is the most important thing you can bring to this role. There is an option to be enrolled onto the Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship programme to learn the essential skills required for a role in manufacturing. You will also receive full on the job training specific to our business.

This is a broad and varied role. Day to day, you will be involved in all aspects of producing a range of bulk fragrances and associated products including our award-winning range of Breaze Consumer Healthcare products. Your duties will include:
Support with lab development work and testing
Measuring and dispensing raw materials
Materials handling
Operating a range of production equipment
Carrying out quality control checks
Packing off & preparing goods for shipment
Cleaning the production equipment
Booking in raw materials and conducting stock takes.

This role is one of two new positions in a dynamic and growing company. Comfortable with a degree of change and uncertainty, you’ll be resilient, pragmatic and able to work well with the rest of the team and our various partners.

**Qualifications**

Maths & English GCSE at grade 5 or equivalent

You must have at least some work experience in any type of role

**Capability requirements**

You'll need to be fit and mobile - there is some lifting and material handling.

Able to work at heights - the production plant is accessed via a gantry at approx. 2m

**Summary of Responsibilities**

Delivering production runs in accordance with precise procedures and quality parameters to ensure orders are manufactured right first time

Working to production schedules to ensure orders are completed on time

Keeping up to date and accurate records

Supporting routine laboratory testing

Handling raw materials, packing off finished goods and labelling ready for QA approval

Booking in raw materials and conducting regular stock takes
