**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have the exciting opportunity to join this faced-paced, growing company as Buyer. As our Buyer, you will actively be contributing to the development of the seasonal range plans across all our brands and Retail channels for our jewellery product offering. You will make an impact by building a balanced, commercial & innovative product ranges for all retail markets.

You are a business minded Buyer, with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail throughout your everyday work. You have passion and expertise within the fashion/lifestyle industry that can provide key insights on competitor, target customer and market trends and activities.

This role could be ideal for a Junior Buyer/Buyer looking for the perfect next step in their Buying career

The role is Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. You'll enjoy the exciting buzz of our friendly office three times a week on average and be able to work from home for the remaining days. This may flex up or down dependant on business needs.

**HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE**
- Implementing buying strategy with the Senior Buying Manger to meet agreed sales targets
- Consistently monitoring/reviewing range, making recommendations for appropriate change with Buying & Design team
- Effectively managing suppliers including; supplier set up, pricing negotiations, building partnerships to achieve better margins, negotiate stock MOQ and de-risk when/where necessary
- Being commercially minded - monitoring consumer trends, competitor analysis, pricing across our Retail Channels and markets
- Manage ranges to ensure they are consistent, and product is delivered & approval process in line with company Critical path
- Working closely with Merchandising team to achieve stock targets and ensure we deliver on stock availability
- Working with the Buying Manager on the option plan alongside merchandising team, ensuring range is delivered to plan in collaboration with design.
- Collaborating with the merchandising team on seasonal analysis, and presenting insights to the wider business to aid future business decisions
- Liaising with PR, Marketing, Web, Visual Merchandising and Retail Operations teams to communicate on product information
- Undertake buying trips where needed to visit existing and onboarding new suppliers
- Building strong relationships with key B2B and B2C internal teams order to develop product and ranges right for market and channels
- Managing and developing junior team members, following the Company’s people management processes including holding performance reviews with your reports and setting clear and stretching development targets Championing Company values and policies

**THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING**
- Proven experience as a Junior Buyer or Buyer within a relatable industry
- Strong organizational & problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and initiative
- You are detail orientated, organized with a keen eye for detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be agile in your way of working and a self-starter
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Build and maintain buying knowledge
- Well organized and process minded
- A keen eye for emerging trends and on brand product
- Confident presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of competitor activity (product/trends/pricing)
- A desire to see things through and make things happen quickly and effectively
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word/ Excel/ Outlook.
