Workchain have a brand new position available for warehouse operatives based in Woolpit, just outside of Bury St Edmunds.

**PLEASE NOTE - DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE SITE IT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL TO HAVE YOUR OWN FORM OF TRANSPORT**

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: £10.25-£11.50 per hour

**Schedule: **Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 17:00

**Job Purpose**:
To assist in the day to day running of an industry leading fulfilment warehouse, in order to deliver an exceptional service to our internal and external customers.

**Knowledge and Specific Job Skills Summary**:
We’re looking for a talented, bright and committed team player to work in our fulfilment warehouse with a customer-centric approach.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Day to Day Operations - Assist with the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
- Fulfilment/Kitting - Part of a team that packs and fulfils merchandise into gift boxes. Ensuring the process is as quick and efficient as possible, whilst maintaining quality standards on each job.

**Person Specification/Core Competencies**:

- Experience in a fast paced, ever-changing warehouse
- Great attention to detail
- General admin experience, booking deliveries with couriers, creating database uploads, stocktakes
- Good word, excel and I.T appreciation to enable a competent use of databases, spreadsheets, word processing and accounts packages
- Organised, with the ability to work well within a team
- Communicate effectively in a team environment
- Enjoys the challenge of working in an ever-changing environment

**Desirable Qualifications**: Reach forklift licence
